Preview of a Java demo, tested with JDK 1.4.0 and JDK 5 (source code included in zip-file, stop fullscreen mode with mouse click): demo2.jar (anything zipped, with sources).

Please install the deluxe soundbank for the MIDI sound, because the Java standard soundbank sounds like an old Adlib card: http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/sound/soundbanks.html
